CaMaRose Midnatssol

CaMaRose has created something unique with Midnatssol! Midnatssal is an airy, light yarn with a lyocell center that holds the baby alpaca and merino fibers together.

The brand focuses on animal and friendly practices, with Midnatssol containing mulesing-free wool. All shades of Midnatssol are Responsible Wool Standard certified (more info here). That means they care about animal welfare, land management (respecting the environment and native species), and have a social responsibility pillar ensuring workers safety and welfare. 

This yarn functions as a softer alternative to fluffy, lace weight mohair yarns while still providing the coveted halo effect. 

Fiber: 54% Baby alpaca, 36% lyocell, 10% merino

Gauge: Lace at 19-22 stitches x 30-36 rows over 4 inches on 3 mm needles

This yarn is often worked with multiple strands held together. The gauge will vary when Midnatssol is held double or triple, be sure to do a gauge swatch for the most accurate information. 

Yardage: 25 grams is 218 yards (200 meters)
