Fonty Super Tweed

Crafted in the last surviving mill in France, Fonty (historically known as La FIlature de Rougnat) is all about heritage, all-natural fibers, and moving forward with the most modern eco-friendly practices. 

Super tweed is a soft, aran-weight wool that makes soft but strong sweaters and accessories. The tweed bits are not plastic or vegetable matter, but actually bits of dyed wool. Meaning, this yarn is super soft and next-to-skin wearable. 

Fiber: 95% Fine Wool, 5% mohair. 

Gauge: Aran weight gauge at 17 stitches x 25 rows over 4 inches square on 4.5 - 5 mm needles. 

Yardage: 50 grams is 100 yards (105 meters). 

Country of Origin: France.

Care: Machine washable in cold water, dry flat.
