Juniper Moon Farm Rambouillet

Rambouillet by Juniper Moon Farm Yarns is an incredible DK weight, worsted spun yarn made entirely from American grown Rambouillet sheep. The Rambouillet is a fine-wool sheep descendant from Merino (so, expect Merino level softness) that was brought to the US in the 1840's and adapted so well to the climate in the Western US (Rocky Mountains, Southwest, and extreme winters in the Midwest), that Rambouillet became a long-standing staple of American farming. Juniper Moon Farm gets their Rambouillet from American Wool and it's then spun in Italy. 

This is a worsted spun yarn that is next-to-skin soft. It's lofty and springy, with enough elasticity to help a garment keep its shape over time. 

Rambouillet was released in 2025 and immediately became a popular yarn. Please check back often as we will be getting more colors in stock!

Gauge: Dk weight at 21-24 stitches per 4 inches on 3.75-4.5 mm needles
